  I went in to get my taxes done and what normally has cost me $65 at 3 different accountants, Liberty Tax Service wanted to charge me $369. I had a total of 6 income & deduction numbers for them to input; 3 of them were 4-digit numbers, and 3 were 3-digit numbers. At $369, that figures out to be $17.57 per keystroke. I asked them up-front how much it would cost, and he said he could not tell me because it depended on how many forms he would have to fill out, but he would not tell me up-front how many forms he had to fill out. My previous accountants even gave me pre-addressed stamped envelopes in which to mail my payment voucher. Not so with Liberty. After talking with the manager, I was only able to talk them down to $180. I would have told them to go screw themselves, but I did not have time to go anywhere else.
